For the wrong reason?

Cribs in a Genoese church and a Venetian school included mosques and minarets. Right wing politicians objected.
I hate to agree with a bunch of fascists, but The Northern League do have a point when they said it was ‘the act of a fool.’
There are no rigid rules about what you can and cannot include in the nativity scene, (the Patriarch of Venice) said. The imam of Milan, Hamid Shari, said he thought the inclusion of the mosque was a good idea and a gesture of inclusivity. Italians love to adapt new forms to ancient traditions and there is a new family in many of the Christmas cribs produced in Naples. America's new President-elect Barack Obama and his wife Michelle figure in many crib scenes being sold there.[1]
Nobody seemed to mention the anachronism.
